I bought myself a Casio Exilim Pink digital camera with some money I received for Christmas. It is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse, and I am very impressed with the large sized digital preview screen. It was a great investment, in my opinion. I believe the price of the camera was 129.99.
Yep I joined a gym and have been committing after work Monday-Friday to my exercise routine. I can tell that I am a lot stronger, as this is my 4th week. It really has become a habit and it is not that bad. I think it is safe to say that you will not like working out, but a 30 minute kick your ass routine will make you feel good about yourself every day after it is over. I am not looking forward to the day 30 minutes is not enough to keep in shape.. I hope that day never comes because 30 minutes is just fine thank you!
I finally did it and joined a 24-Hour FitLite in Redwood City! It is a great circuit training gym that promises a good workout in 30 minutes! I found that 30 minutes is short enough that I can stick to this routine. I have been doing it Monday-Friday, so that also lets me cross off another goal on my 43 things list (work out 5 days a week)! I highly suggest that you join a circuit training gym if you find it way too boring to stick to a normal cardio routine. My clothes are all beginning to fit me again. I think I will look good this summer. Next summer I will look great!
It is too hot to even THINK today. I think it was like 95 degrees maybe 100.
Right now it is 73 outside at 10 at night. Trust me that part I do not mind, but it is still so hot inside it is insane. The good news is that I found Mikes Hard Lemonade Light, for 2 points a bottle. Not a bad trade but it is probably making me hotter. This weekend I am traveling to Sacramento to go to the West Coast BrewFest. I am going with A as it is gonna be her 26th birthday on Tuesday! So we will be out in the hot sun partying it up on Saturday. We are hooked up with a hotel room to crash in which is nice too!
I have to say one good thing about it being so hot is no one is doing laundry right now! I swear the laundry room is going 24/7 here and tonight its all deserted! That is a nice surprise!
I heard that A found 2 point Weight Watchers bagels at Albertsons the other day, I have got to remember to stop there. I hear they are really good. Yesterday I found myself in a little boutique called La Boume in Menlo Park. I had passed by it many times and I assumed it was some hoity toity (read:fun) upscale boutique I wanted to look at sometime. Turns out it happened to be open yesterday so I went in. It was a shithole! They had a rack of cute and cheap earrings (NO complaints here!) And cheap less-than-lovely purses (eh) and racks of decent looking and cheap clothes. Well I guess my definition of shithole is “not fancy, as you would expect by the name, location and their buggy-ass hours”.
I did buy 2 pairs of earrings, both shaped in stars. One is a cute pair of metal black stars with skull and crossbones all over it, then a random red heart that says “love” on them. Yeah, random I say. They are really cute with my black top though! I also got a pair of BIG silver star dangly earrings. Both of these pairs of earrings cost me 4.98 - now that is a deal.
