Hello Tiffy!

Hey I just saw this crazy simple yet cute site Memiary.com. It is like a twitter-blog-diary:  private if you want it to be, and I am sure there will be days I keep it private, but the gist is, you describe your day in 5 sentences. I like this because by entering the 5 things it can it inspires me to elaborate by actually posting a blog. But not today. Here is today’s memiary:

Sunday 2nd November, 2008:
What did you do today?

1. Woke Up

2. Had 1/2 cinnamon raisin bagel w cream cheese

3. Burnt bacon

4. Ate 3 pieces of burnt bacon

5. Went to work

Here is a pic i drew in an online painting website a few years back. I totally forgot about it, you could say it was hidden in my flickr page near the back. I was re-impressed with it, so I figured I would share it. Other than the fact it looks more like a bong than a vase, and the flowers are stuffed in there at a 90 degree angle, it’s a pretty damn good painting (in my humble opinion!

I saw this new beer in the store and I had to try it! I love trying new things, of course and new beer, well that is a given! Shiner is a big brand here in Texas, it is brewed in Shiner, TX - makes sense, doesn’t it? In California, I saw the original Shiner on the shelves and I liked it, but moving here introduced me to many varieties of Shiner! This new one is Holiday Cheer. It is quite refreshing! The beer is described on the label as “Ale brewed with peaches and pecans and with natural flavor and caramel color”.

I didn’t take the peaches part seriously, as I couldn’t imagine it would taste very peachy. I brought it home and had one and wow, hello peachy! It was tasty! Subtle, yet slightly spicy and definitely peachy. Almost reminds me of peach pie, but it does not at all taste like a cider. It is really different but very unique and yummy! If you see it, give it a try.
